Day Two - Saturday, 7/05
Carlsbad to Roswell via White Sands and Ruidoso

This is the route for the second day. It takes me through Cloudcroft, which is very nice, then through Alamogordo to White Sands. Back up to Ruisoso and finally over to Roswell.

|
Stopped for a break at a roadside park near Hope just east of Artesia. As you can see this is flat, semi-desert country.
|

My GPS says the altitude here is 4030 feet. I wish I had done this back at Carlsbad where the altitude is around 3500 feet.
