Canon City to Durango
292 Miles

| This route took us west to Montrose and then south to Durango. I really didn't take many pictures for this day. It was 292 miles thru some slow mountainous terrain and we got a late start.

This route goes for several miles along the Blue Mesa Reservoir. This is a beautiful lake, but the water is very cold. We made a couple of stops along here and these are the only pictures I took.

This was taken as we approached the lake from the east just as we came out of Gunnison.

This is a closer shot of the one above. This is the last picture for the day. We still had alot of ground to cover thru the San Juan Mountains.
