This is the total route for the day. I realize I just said on the previous day that we rode the best roads in Colorado, but this one may have something to say about that. This road has higher speed sweepers that just keep going and going. It's a super fun road to ride.

This is an expanded look at the first half of the route. It's a little flat and straight in the beginnig, but just wait. It gets great.

This is the second half. This part never gets boring, it's some great riding. This part originally included going through the Colorado National Monument, but it was raining so hard when we got to Grand Junction, we decided to skip that part and go straight to our motel.

This is just after leaving Durango on Hwy. 160.

This is looking back down at the road behind us.

This is at the intersection of Hwy. 84 and Hwy. 145 near Delores where we stopped for gas. Looks like we're going to get wet.

Looking northwest from our gas stop.

Stopped in Naturita for a drink. This shot is behind the same store we stopped at last year on our way to Glacier NP.

The guy riding this bike was having the time of his life. He's from Ohio and said he had never ridden in mountains like these. He couldn't believe it.

Another shot in Naturita. It's still looking like rain.

It's amazing that this could be built in the 1800's. It's on a sheer cliff wall.

The bikes at the Hanging Flume stop.

You can barely make out the flume in this photo. It's about half-way down the cliff wall.

Here's a better look.

A little further down the road. It just follows this canyon and is some great riding.

Looking back down the road behind us.

Looking at the road ahead.

Another shot of the flume.

This canyon is awesome. It just keeps on going.

This is across the road from the previous shot.
